Glenn Junior James was born in Bluffton, Arkansas on February 2, 1948. He is the oldest of thirteen children. After graduation from high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served in Vietnam on the U.S.S. Providence.
He worked as a carpenter with his father for several years before going to work for Dow Chemical. He was transferred to Texas Dow Chemical Division in 1983. He worked as an electrician until retirement in April 2005. He is currently working for Gulf States as an electrician and instrument technician.
He is presently serving as Commander for West Brazos VFW Post 8551. He was All State and All American Commander for year 2008 - 2009.
He has two sons, Justin and Jeffrey, two grandson, and a granddaughter. He is married to Donna and she has a son, Dustin.
Glenn's hobbies include fishing and relaxing on the river with his wife. He also enjoys woodworking and gardening.
